Vivienne Westwood Celebrated Anniversaries, Publishing the Book about Her Legacy
The designer from Britain, who shocked the fashion world with her provocative style, celebrated three anniversaries. Not only Vivienne Westwood celebrated her 80th birthday, but now, 50 years after she founded a fashion label and 40 years working on the catwalk, she presented a book. This runaway book praises the heritage of the House’s fashion industry, showing the collections of the designer.
Vivienne Westwood Catwalk is a reflection of the collections of Vivienne Westwood along with Andreas Kronthaler, who was an employee of the House in 1981. The book includes 1,300 looks from more than 70 Westwood collections. In addition, it features original catwalk images, statements from famous fashion critics, and biographies of Westwood and Kronthaler. The book is made with pink pages and reflects Westwood’s legacy.
The limited-edition will be available for purchase starting from June 24th through the website, global stores, and various booksellers.
