The Limited-Edition Karl Lagerfeld NFT Caricatures Will Be Sold on the Dematerialised
Karl Lagerfeld’s imposing personal style — Dark suits with white shirts, sunglasses and a white ponytail inspired a digital fashion marketplace to create a virtual toylike figurine of Karl Lagerfeld.
In order to celebrate the late designer’s birthdate, the brand will present digital figurines available in limited edition. The launch arrives on Friday and will be sold on The Dematerialised.
The first drop of the collection will cost 77 euros which can be purchased by only 777 customers. After the following digital line arrives, the consumers will be able to update the figurine’s appearance and clothes.
The second collection is estimated at 177 euros and will be launched in 77 pieces. The premium avatar is designed in chrome and looks pretty futuristic.
According to the company, the owners of the figurines will be able to share the images via iPhones using reality technology.
During his lifetime, the fashion designer collaborated with Tokidoki for the collectible figurines, along with Fendi for fur charms and other brands.
