L’Officiel Magazine in the USA Not Paying the Workers

New York has recently filed a lawsuit against L’Officiel. The magazine in the USA is now accused of not paying its workers on time. And according to the documents, some of the employees didn’t receive their money at all. Namely, at least two dozen freelancers, including writers, photographers, and stylists have been affected.

In a new legal filing, it is claimed that the French magazine brand didn’t provide with the salary of at least 24 people for work performed by them. In addition, the magazine refused to provide a written contract and retaliation. In such a way, the company violated the city’s Act.

This is not the first incident when the company is involved in not paying the freelancers. Earlier this year, the magazine owed freelancers in other markets in Paris and London.
