nail trends 2020

Even if you consider your style to be reserved and basic, everyone loves a little splash of color from time to time. When it comes to nails, there’s no better way to experiment with your style and try new things. A good manicure isn’t only the perfect final touch for every look, but for me can even be therapeutic and make me feel feminine and confident.

Like any other beauty and fashion style, nail art has its own trends. If you consider yourself a fashionista, you would want to keep a close look at those trends and keep up with them. Here’s a list of a few of my favorite nail trends of summer 2020: Pastels – Nothing says summer like a colorful manicure with light pastels. This trend is for everyone, even if your style isn’t that colorful, and can work with any type of look. If you get a little bored by wearing solid colors on all nails, try to paint each nail with a different shade of pastel, which has become one of the hottest trends of the season seen on models and influencers.

  • Metallics – although this isn’t a new trend, it is definitely one of the strongest this season. Experts say we are likely to see this trend a lot during the next fall as well, only the summer-suiting warm golds will be switched with colder tones and silvers.
  • Gradient nails – еhis trend is extremely photogenic and trendy. By choosing 5 shades of the same color and applying those on each nail, you can create a chic and sophisticated look, exciting and unique yet classy and elegant.
  • Long acrylics – as seen on the Kardashians and supermodels like Bella and Gigi Hadid, long acrylics has been a strong trend for a while now. Pointy, round, or square-shaped, long nails are a statement and uber-feminine style that will catch all of the attention of your surroundings.
  • Nudes- If you’re looking to create a classy and minimal look to your nails, go for a matte finish with warm nude tones. This trend is completely effortless and chic and is perfect for whoever wants a nit and tidy look without too much color.
