Sustainable Hats to Keep You Warm This Winter - Lamodanista

Sustainable Hats to Keep You Warm This Winter

As the temperature begins to drop and the snow begins to fall from the sky in the beautiful way it always does, it’s time to start thinking about pulling out the winter clothes. Our big jackets, our thick warm scarves, our waterproof boots, our cute little mittens and finally, our warm and cosy hats.

Not only are all of these items essential to staying warm in the winter months, but they have the ability to say a lot about our sense of fashion. What we wear outside in the snow can say a lot about who we are as a person. Something I have always been passionate about is ensuring that my winter wardrobe is not only cute but also cruelty-free.

Today we are going to talk about all things hats. I am going to introduce to you some of my favourite brands and companies that produce and sell some of the best winter hats whilst leaving animals out of the picture. I hope you join me on this stylish winter hats adventure. I’m ready if you are!

When talking about vegan and cruelty-free winter wear, the first company I always turn to is Noize. Noize is a 100% vegan and cruelty-free company that sells some of the most stylish winter hats for women. They have a variety of chic winter hats this season, but this year my favourite one they have is their Callie hat. This hat comes in five different colours, my personal favourite being the sand colour because the pom-pom is multicoloured. There’s nothing better than adding a pop of colour to your winter fit this season.

The next company I want to talk about is tentree. With every purchase, tentree is committed to planting trees in honour of your purchase. This company is aware that the mess we have created on Mother Earth is our fault, therefore our responsibility to clean up. Using sustainable materials and ethical practices, tentree is dedicated to planting 1 billion trees by the year 2030. When talking about winter hats for women, tentree has just what you are looking for. Their Cotton Headband falls under the category of best winter hats for women as it is accommodating to all hairstyles. Because this is a headband rather than a full hat, no matter if you have your hair slicked back into an effortless ponytail or bun, you will still be able to keep ayour ears warm on your morning commute or hectic lunch run. This cute headband comes in three simple colours that will work with any outfit. It’s hard to go wrong when working with white, black or grey. Because this headband is 100% cotton, no animals were harmed in the making. Not only will you be buying a cute headband to keep your ears warm, but you will be assisting in the replanting of trees at the same time.

The North Face

Next on our list of popular women’s winter hats is the well-known company The North Face. This company has a wide range of popular winter hats that leave animals out of the picture. Their Women’s Cable Minna Beanie comes in two different colours, Mesa Rose and Black. It is 100% Acrylic and guaranteed to keep your head warm no matter the weather. Another hat of theirs that I love is their Whimzy Powder Hood. This hood offers more than any cute winter hats could ever. This hood will not only keep your head warm in a blizzard but your face as well. If you are into outdoor activities, this hood is just what you need. It is helmet-compatible therefore perfect if you’re into skiing and snowboarding. I highly recommend checking out The North Face company this year when shopping for all of your winter needs.

The last company I am going to cover today on our journey of stylish winter hats for ladies is Canada’s most famous company, Roots. If you are looking for a super sleek and cute beanie this winter, Roots has you covered. Their Bracebridge Toque is totally cruelty-free and comes in five different colours. This hat will definitely keep you warm this winter while ensuring you look as fashionable as can be.

Burton winter hat

Burton is a company that I don’t find myself turning to frequently, but when talking about fashionable winter hats I just had to include them. This year, the Burton Walden Beanie is just the thing you need to put a smile on your face amidst the windiest of blizzards. This hat comes in three different colours, all multicoloured and fun. They have Ponderosa Pine, Mood Indigo and Creme Brulee. The Creme Brulee combination of colours is by far my favourite and definitely one of the most trendy winter hats I have found this season. This hat is made from acrylic yarn, once again leaving animals out of the picture which is what we love to do.

Happy Shopping

So there you have it, some of the best companies that are producing sustainable winter hats this season. Fashion is the most fashionable when the abuse of animals is left out of the picture. There are so many options available that are vegan and cruelty-free, so why not support these companies? Animal fur is not fashionable any longer, it’s time to turn to faux. Thanks for checking out this blog, I hope you found everything you were looking for. All of these companies sell more than just hats, so who knows, maybe you will be able to find your whole winter wardrobe from just one store. Happy winter hat shopping!
