Stella McCartney Has Created a New Collection of Clothing Dedicated to the Beatles
Stella McCartney launches a capsule collection, inspired by The Beatles. The presentation coincides with the release of Peter Jackson’s three-part documentary The Beatles: Get Back, which tells the story of the recording of the legendary band’s fourth and final album.
The creator and art director of the brand Stella McCartney creatively approached the new line and used portraits of the musicians and album covers for the print. The bright capsule designed by the British designer features T-shirts, shirts, sweaters, coats, and trousers that are made of organic cotton. There’s also a stylized bomber jacket inspired by one of Paul McCartney’s jackets. The designer made the main emphasis on the inscription The Beatles, which is red, and in the case of this collection, a black thread runs through each element of the line.
The items are decorated with exclusive photographs of the Beatles, album covers, and graphics that are used for the first time on clothing. The capsule is also complemented by fashionable accessories- a hat, a scarf, socks, and a shopping bag.
The capsule collection has already gone on sale and is presented in the brand’s stores as well as on the official website. The prices for the items range from 105 dollars for socks with The Beatles logo to 2,789 dollars for a bomber jacket with the band on the back.
