Saint Laurent Presented a Collection of Beautiful and Expensive Plates and Vases
Saint Laurent has released a collection of ceramic plates and vases inspired by the designer’s garden. Saint Laurent worked with a Ukrainian-based team, Family Production, and presented a collection of interior items. Anthony Vaccarello’s limited series consists of tableware and decorative vases by the luxury brand in collaboration with ceramics specialist Mathilde Martin.
The main theme of inspiration was the Majorelle botanical garden, which is located in Marrakesh, where the founder of the house, Yves Saint Laurent, liked to rest. Now his museum is located there which the French fashion designer acquired in 1980.
The collection of ceramic vases of various sizes are designed in bright red and violet-black shades. The vases were made of burgundy sandstone, a very demanding and difficult material to work with. All decor items can be bought only in two boutiques in the world- Paris and Los Angeles, as well as on the website of the brand. Saint Laurent tableware and home decor prices are impressive. For example, a round ceramic vase with painted enamel panthers will cost 13,000 dollars. And a plate with blue wave prints is estimated at 2,690 dollars.
