The two daughters of singer Lionel Richie have begun working together on the House of Harlow 1960 collection since last April. Their first photo shoot together took place recently in Los Angeles.

First, 39-year-old Nicole founded House of Harlow 1960 in 2008 as a jewelry line. And now, together with 22-year-old Sofia, the line has expanded to clothing and shoes. The sisters said it was a deliberate decision to work together and was conceived by the two of them in the early days of the pandemic.

The collection was released on May 10 and is available exclusively on Revolve platform. The spring line includes cropped tops, shorts, dresses, and swimwear available in white, mint, coral, and nude colors. The pieces have elements using crochet technique, silk, and denim, ranging in price from 78 to 228 dollars.

Sofia and Nicole worked remotely with the rest of the design team. And they were also faced with delivery delays due to the pandemic situation. But the biggest challenge was anticipating the needs of buyers at such an unpredictable time on the market, the designers admit. Their main goal was to make the customer feel good in their clothes, namely, be light and free. Ana all decisions were based on this principle.
