Madison Beer Collaborated with Vanessa Hudgens, Presenting a Skincare Collection
The 32-years-old actress Vanessa Hudgens decided to cooperate with Madison Beer to launch a joint line of DNA-based skincare products. The Know Beauty collection appeared on the brand’s website on June 22.
The future colleagues met through Hudgens’ younger sister, a 25-years-old actress, Stella. Beer moved to Los Angeles when she was a teenager and became popular in 2012, being 13 years old, after Justin Bieber tweeted about her YouTube covers. Hudgens and Beer began spending time with each other. They talked about a lot of common things and came up with the decision to create a skincare line pretty quickly.
Over the years, each of them has been looking for answers to their skincare needs. While Beer trying to fight acne, Hudgens didn’t feel comfortable without having full makeup.
They founded the brand together with a dermatologist, Dr. Karen Kagha. The brand focus on helping people to learn more about their skin and be able to choose the right skincare products.
They offer a skin diagnostic test, which is an online questionnaire with a series of questions. Getting the answers, the brand hopes to understand better a person’s skin type along with environmental factors. In addition, it offers a DNA kit for 95 dollars that will be sent by mail. Based on the results, the brand will recommend each customer a personal Know Beauty skincare treatment. The brand is produced in Florida and features a line of cleansers, moisturizers, and masks, that cost between 20 and 30 dollars, promising various options. Each package, designed in a minimalistic and colorful box, lists all the ingredients used.
