Luis Vuitton Participates in UNICEF’s Program and Donates $380,000 to Ghana’s Youth
Louis Vuitton is going to donate 380,000 dollars to UNICEF to make a contribution to its study programs in Ghana. That’s why, Virgil Abloh is planning to develop Louis Vuitton’s cooperation with UNICEF, creating a youth workshop in Ghana.
Launching the Silver Lockit bracelet the previous year to fundraise for UN emergency programs, the designer is now making another move. He takes part in a program for young entrepreneurs of Ghana, where his parents came from. Participating in Generation Unlimited, Luis Vuitton gives 380,000 dollars to UNICEF. This matches with the launch of its Spring 2022 men’s collection, which takes place on Thursday.
Abloh will hold a master class aimed at the creativity and positive change in the community with an audience of 250 young entrepreneurs. The event will also be translated live on Facebook and is expected to gain over 365,000 viewers.
Virgil Abloh attempts to make a personal contribution to stimulating the children and youth of Ghana. The main goal is to inspire Africans to develop their creative projects and connect African art and cultural heritage to world markets.
