Kim Howells Dressed Breastfeeding Mothers in Brand Clothes Special for Hunger Magazine

A stylist from Britain, Kim Howells, who is a young mother herself, invited moms to shoot for Hunger magazine, which will arrive on May 29.
Howells, whose clients are such brands as Fendi and Dior, along with Rita Ora, hold an extraordinary photoshoot for moms and their babies. The issue is dedicated to the 10th anniversary of publisher Rankin’s magazine. And there is no better way to celebrate the theme of community than to gather a group of young mothers, dress them along with their children in designer clothes and ask them to chat while breastfeeding.
After giving birth to her son named Indigo while being isolated in England, the designer realized how difficult it is to raise a newborn during a pandemic. Then she didn’t have the opportunity to spend time with friends and relatives, and couldn’t even see or hug them. In addition, due to complications, Howells also counted on the milk of other mothers who donated it to her.
That’s why she decided to start an online platform called Tits Up, a place where all young mothers can chat. What’s more, she is going to launch a series of podcasts with conversations with mothers. This cooperation with House Studio at Soho House will appear this summer.
The women from the photoshoot of Hunger were Howells’ acquaintances or new mothers she met on Instagram. And most of them continue their jobs while raising their children. And namely these qualities the designer wanted to highlight. She said that it was a great opportunity for all moms to exchange tips, but most importantly they had fun. The team did makeup, hair, and even long false nails for the breastfeeding women. The babies also got a stylish outfit, wearing clothes from brands such as Moschino, Dior, Moncler, and Stella McCartney.
