Are you dreaming of the most unusual handbag to diversify your wardrobe? Well, this desire can be achieved. Judith Leiber Couture together with Lucasfilm developed a limited edition that features two of the most extraordinary clutches you can even imagine. When thinking about the design, they were inspired by a droid from the cult Star Wars movie series.

The partnership between Star Wars and Judith Leiber Couture will offer customers two variants of the bag. A classic one is made of 9,000 crystals in white, blue, black, and green colors, and a second one is covered in gold.

“I’ve always liked the R2-D2 character. It makes me happy and at the same time slightly nostalgic”- said the creative officer of Judith Leiber Couture about the upcoming collection.

Judith Leiber, who is 50 years old, is known for its famous evening bags. Both companies have been working on this idea for a year. Because the masters set all the crystals by hands, so they needed more than 150 hours for the creation of each bag. The bag will be sold for 5,495 dollars and will be available for online purchasing from May 4, 2021.
