House of Gucci Exhibition Was Held at FIDM in Los Angeles and Featured Film’s Costumes
The House of Gucci goes to the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising Museum. The exhibition that was held in downtown Los Angeles featured costumes worn by the film’s cast.
On an opening evening, costume designers, as well as makeup artists and hairstylists were present. Janty Yates, Sarah Tanno, and Frederic Aspiras came to look at the items that were on display, including Lady Gaga’s wedding dress. It took ten weeks to make the lace item that was hand sewn. Patrizia Reggiani’s dress stood front and center of the exhibit.
In addition, the red-colored ski suit made of nylon that Gaga wears on the ski slope was also presented. But unfortunately, Gaga’s wedding ring from the movie wasn’t put on display however it was a part of costume jewelry.
According to the director, the aim of this exhibition is to showcase the remarkable work of a team of artists. In addition to Adam Driver and Jared Leto’s costumes, the display will feature rare photographs and film footage. The show will run through December 4.
