Hiroshi Fujiwara Hinted at a Collaboration With Italian Brand Loro Piana
Hiroshi Fujiwara has recently hinted at a collaboration with Loro Piana. Such a teaser appeared on the Instagram account of the Japanese designer.
Details of the partnership haven’t been revealed yet. And while such collaborations are not new for the founder of Fragment, this would be the first experience for Loro Piana which is under control of LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton.
As we can understand from the image, the streetwear project and the Italian brand plan to present both men’s and women’s capsules which will feature relaxed clothes and accessories made from the expensive fabrics Loro Piana is famous for. And the collection’s target will be a young customer.
Besides Fragment’s collaborations with Moncler Genius, Fujiwara worked together with Maserati. In June, Fragment and the design team created a new project which included 175 special-edition cars for global distribution.
Not only Fujiwara is a leader in the streetwear culture in the ’80s in Japan, but he also was one of the first DJs to play hip-hop. In addition, he works as a producer, musician, and visual artist.
Loro Piana and Last year, Loro Piana opened a new store in Tokyo. The company’s flagship takes place in a striking building whose mirrored facade is more than 100 feet high.
