Gucci’s New Collaboration With Azéde Jean-Pierre Consists of Knitted Items

Gucci has announced a capsule collaboration with young Haitian-born American designer Azéde Jean-Pierre. Its presentation will take place at the upcoming New York Fashion Week.
Jean-Pierre met the team of creative director Alessandro Michele at the 2019 Met Gala. Then they had the idea of a collaboration, the result of which was a jersey capsule entitled Azede Powered by Gucci. The idea is to take a fresh look at knitwear by creating clothes that combine sophistication with comfort.
The collection consists of five key styles, which the designer described as cozy classics. The assortment includes a bodysuit, along with dress, skirt, and pants designed with innovative technology.
The collection of the Italian luxury brand will be showcased at Los Angeles concept store Dover Street Market and Gucci’s New York boutique on Worcester Street. The price for the knitwear pieces from the line will start from 1,900 dollars.
The brand will mark its launch with a donation to the non-profit charitable organization CORE, which supports Haitians in crisis situations and aids other communities around the world.
