Francis Kurkdjian’s Thoughts about the Main Keys of Cooking and Perfumes
During the pandemic, Kurkjian set up a rooftop garden where he grows fresh food to prepare meals. And the key to his cooking hobby is simple recipes but prepared with quality ingredients.
During the lockdown, he also continued to manage his perfume business. Last month he added to his Cologne Forte collection three new fragrances. Kurkjian, who was a ballet dancer in his youth, has many interesting hobbies. He says his perfumery and gardening occupations do not intersect with each other.
His culinary philosophy is focused more on the quality of ingredients than on the recipes. He tries to find simple and high-quality ingredients. He thinks the best food is the food cooked with the right ingredients and at the right temperature. Among his signature dishes are pastries and desserts.
