Forvr Mood Signed Its First Partnership | Jackie Aina’s Brand Cooperates With Sephora
On July 18, Jackie Aina’s company started a partnership with Sephora in order to bring its candles to the US. In addition, Forvr Mood has joined Jo Malone London, which is also Sephora’s partner.
Last year, the pandemic restrictions caused a global wave in candle sales. Customers started to buy candles to create a calming indoor atmosphere in contrast with the COVID-19 mess outside.
That’s when Forvr Mood appeared, presenting a collection of four candles along with home accessories. And although the company has been in development since 2018, Aina definitely chose the right time. Then, the brand managed to sell 700,000 dollars worth of products in the first four hours of launch. And to this day has sold more than 200,000 candles that are equal to 6 million dollars. This year, Forvr Mood intends to make 10 million dollars of income.
Sephora, which doesn’t yet have a home fragrance category and loves new trends, is exciting about the partnership with the brand. Previously, Sephora mentioned its plans to increase its range of black-owned businesses by the end of the year. And Aina, known for her support for colored people in the beauty industry, is a great example.
Meanwhile, Forvr plans to expand its range of lifestyle products, but now, the brand will be releasing seasonal versions. The next drop is expected to arrive for a birthday collection that coincides with the founder’s 4 August birthday.
