Dior Is Focusing on Sustainability and Resows Roses Bushes in the Tuileries Garden
Trying to follow a more sustainable way of lifestyle, Dior is planting roses and remake the packaging of its products. The beauty brand has recently announced its latest eco-friendly ideas.
That’s why Dior is starting to focus on sustainability and planting its flowers. Starting from 2006, the brand’s perfumes have been supplied by women who grow flowers in the regions of France. For 15 years, the brand has grown flowers in order to provide all the important ingredients for perfumery.
And Dior decided to continue this project, planting 600 rose bushes in the Queen’s Grove. In addition, the brand plans to restore dying gardens by planting the area in the Tuileries Garden by the end of 2022. And this will not only be beautiful, but useful.
What’s more, Dior tests all the natural ingredients for its products, aimed at skincare. Testing the products, the brand ensures that all of them are made with environmentally friendly ingredients. Dior is also redesigning the product packaging to make sure it doesn’t create unnecessary waste. By 2022, the brand intends to make all its lipsticks to be reusable.
