Dior 2022 Collection Reflects Greek History through the Feminine and Comfy Designs
This year, the Dior Cruise 2022 event was held at the stadium that hosted the 1896 Olympic Games. The catwalk took place in Athens and the spot’s capacity was 400 guests. Erratum collection, created by Maria Grazia Chiuri, was inspired by Greek archeology and featured gold and metallic palette. Chiuri’s aim was to highlight femininity and connect history with the feminine design in this collection. The line was a perfect combination of asymmetrical techniques and ancient Greek illustrations printed on dresses. Using her design skills, Chiuri managed to create comfortable pieces, consisting of sports and evening wear, that will attract women from all over the world.
As it was dark in the stadium, the only light was coming from the empty seats and the catwalk. The final walk of the models was finished with a great fireworks show.
This is not the first time when Dior has been working in Greece. The house has collaborated with Greek artists, as well as ceramics and jewelry craftsmen, for various projects.
Anya Taylor-Joy also appeared at the Dior Cruise 2022 show and was dressed suitably for the occasion. The actress arrived with her hair braided around her head that was causing a crown effect, and she definitely looked like a Greek goddess. Her dress from Dior was in a pure champagne color and shined, so she was gorgeous as usual.
