Designer Stella McCartney Will Talk About Breast Cancer in Sex Education
Stella McCartney will appear in one of the most popular Netflix TV shows.
The British designer will take part in the Sex Education series special for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
In the mini-film, McCartney will play a sex education teacher whose name is Ella Allets. She will explain to students the causes of breast cancer using the example of fruits: coconuts, peaches, watermelons, and others.
In addition, the brand, which has previously collaborated with Alicia Keys, Kate Moss, and the model Cara Delevingne as part of an annual campaign to educate the causes and signs of breast cancer, will release a short this year. The video will feature such Sex Education stars as Ashley McKay, Simone Ashley, and others. The video should stimulate all young women to include breast examinations in their daily routine.
In addition, the brand will release three types of T-shirts: with lettering, the Stella McCartney logo, and with thermosetting dye prints in the form of palm prints that turn white when touched.
The proceeds from the sales will go to funds that sponsor breast cancer studies and its prevention. The Stella McCartney Cares Foundation will also provide one special bra for every T-shirt sold to patients who have undergone a mastectomy- an operation to remove the breast.
The series was launched in 2019, and almost immediately after the release was extended for two more seasons. On September 26, it became known that the series was renewed for a fourth season.
