Chella Man Is the First Transgender Man in History To Be the Face of YSL Beauty
YSL Beauty has unveiled its first transgender model. Chella Man has become the face of the eco-friendly skincare and makeup campaign. The man is an artist and LGBTQ+ activist. In addition, he has hearing problems.
Chella is the first trans male model in the whole history of the YSL Beauty brand. He and other Gen Z influencers starred together in support of the Nu brand’s collection of clean and sustainable cosmetics.
In a new video for YSL Beauty’s Nu Collective campaign, he describes how art has helped him express himself. In the video which appeared on Instagram, he also spoke about his experience of the operation.
Throughout the clip, Chella can be seen wearing jewelry from his own brand Beauty of Being Deaf, which he launched last May. It is designed to help deaf and hard-of-hearing people better control their bodies. The collection showcases flexible metal earphones made of gold that are suitable for hearing aids and cochlear implants.
