Chanel Cooperates With Tribeca for the Seventh Edition of Through Her Lens
Chanel works with Tribeca on Through Her Lens. The Women’s Filmmaker Program was founded in 2015 together with Pulse Films.
The event dedicated to the Seventh Edition lasts from October 12 to 14 and takes place in New York. The program includes such experts as Amy Schumer, Leslie Mann, and others.
The three-day event is aimed at helping female filmmakers and features various mentorship, workshops, grants, and other events. This year’s program includes both online and offline events and masterclasses, held by DeWanda Wise, Kay Cannon, along with Zoe Lister-Jones, and Misha Green.
Five film projects were chosen, and at the end of the program such jurors as Melissa Barrera, Gayle King, and others will choose one film. The winner will get full financial support and four other finalists will receive partial grants for their production process.
A series of short films which consists of three parts is titled In Development and will also be presented this year. Actresses Lucy Boynton and Alisha Boe will be featured. In addition to the three films, more than 40 women were invited to participate in a photo project.
