Cartier Is Becoming the Main Sponsor of the Venice International Film Festival
Today, Cartier announced the partnership with the Venice Biennale, and the House has become the main sponsor of the forthcoming Venice International Film Festival. The event will start this year and is aimed to support the creation of modern films.
In collaboration with the French jeweler, the Venice International Film Festival will honor outstanding filmmakers with the Cartier Glory Award. The prize will be given to a person who has made a unique contribution to modern cinematography.
The ceremony will take place in the Lido di Venezia starting from September 1st to 11th. Cartier is looking forward to participating in the commitment in order to save cultural heritage and support contemporary artists. The House is also honored to have the opportunity to pay tribute to world-famous filmmakers.
As it was reported previously this month, Cartier has demonstrated great results in the sales for these last three months. Namely, by June 30 Cartier’s income was 2.52 billion euros.
