Brandon Maxwell’s Early Years

Brandon Maxwell was born in Longview, Texas. His grandmother worked in a boutique there, where the future fashion designer often spent time. In 2002, he moved to New York City to study painting at Marymount Manhattan College before transferring to St. Edward’s University in Austin, Texas. Maxwell earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in photographic communication. After graduation, Maxwell returned to New York City to begin working. He is the founder of the luxury women’s ready-to-wear brand, Brandon Maxwell.

How old is Brandon Max? Maxwell turns 37 in this 2021. He was born on September 18, 1984. He was born the eldest of five children. He was born into the family of Mike Maxwell and Pam Woolley. His parents divorced when he was seven years old.

Brandon’s family owned a beer, wine, and liquor distribution company. 

Maxwell’s maternal grandmother, Louise Johnson, worked in a boutique in Longview, where he also spent time. He was mesmerized by the immaculately dressed women who passed through the boutique. He collected outfits and photographed his friends in them.

On top of everything else, Brandon has a sister, Cady, and three half-siblings, Dylan, Ben, and Bianca. They are so close that they consider themselves full siblings.

In 2015, Maxwell unveiled his women’s clothing brand Brandon Maxwell in New York City at Mr. Chow.

Brandon Maxwell is a luxury women’s ready-to-wear label launched in New York in 2015. The Maxwell brand was born out of the desire to make women feel beautiful, sophisticated, and powerful, with timeless garments that are impeccably tailored.  With a focus on craftsmanship, the entire collection is Maxwell designs in New York City.

Brandon’s integrity is present throughout the process: makes Brandon Maxwell gown by draping rather than sketching to ensure a perfect fit. Inspiration comes from the women Brandon surrounds himself with, which is evident in the sharp tailoring and sculptural details.

The success of that project led them to direct an Apple Music commercial for Lady Gaga’s song “A-Yo” from her 2016 album Joanne. They went on to direct campaigns for his eponymous label that focus on bringing Brandon Maxwell fashion designer talent to the forefront.

Brandon Maxwell bio received his greatest media value during New York Fashion Week, when his collection was presented alongside Ralph Lauren and Tom Ford.

Many influential women, including Michelle Obama, Karlie Kloss, Jennifer Lawrence, Oprah Winfrey, Nicole Kidman, Jane Fonda, Viola Davis and the Queen of Jordan wear the Maxwell brand. The collection is sold in retail stores worldwide, including Saks, Bergdorf Goodman, Moda Operandi, Harvey Nichols, Harrods and Neiman Marcus. Maxwell was awarded the 2018 Woolmark New York Fashion Group Award Rising Star semifinalist, the 2016 CFDA Swarovski Women’s Apparel Award, and was named a 2016 LVMH Award finalist. He served as a judge for the 2019 re-launch of Brandon Maxwell project runway.

Brandon Maxwell’s shows are known for their zaniness, and the presentations are no exception. The most recent Brandon Maxwell 2020 show was held at the American Museum of Natural History, with images with animals: bears, moose and sheep were involved in the scenography. Lexi Bramback and Gaby Butler from the series Cheers (Netflix) also attracted attention, actively applauding the models.

The collection is in natural dark tones with the addition of milky white, shimmering fabrics, noble suede and corduroy, and expensive cashmere. The style can be described as casual, comfortable, and cozy, suitable for every modern, active woman. The highlight of the evening was a red dress, created especially for the “Nature of Color” exhibition.

New Collection 2021

Brandon Maxwell presented the Brandon Maxwell Resort 2021 collection with a lookbook featuring top model Mayowa Nicholas. The collection focuses on bright, juicy colors. The images convey all the energy of the designer in creating the collection, as well as being present on the set.

Based on the fact that in this hard and unusual time women admirers of the brand today want to see fantasy and feel comfortable in their clothes, the designer created 15 bright resort images. Skirts are cut with the ease of a sarong, the emphasis is on denim, as well as spacious knitted pieces and tight-knit dresses.

Color is an important accent in the collection, from a bright green suit to a pink shirt dress and lime-colored pants.
