Bethany Williams Is Named a Winner of This Year’s British Fashion Council
The ambitious young designer, named Bethany Williams, won this year’s British Fashion Council and Vogue Designer Fashion Fund. The award was a £ 200,000 money prize. This amount should help the aspiring designer advance the business and embody new crazy fashion ideas.
She was called an exceptional talent due to the reimagined way she creates her collections. The designer works with homeless people and imprisoned women using her business for education and support.
Williams has already won the Queen Elizabeth II Prize in 2019. She is well-known for her activity and involvement in environmentally friendly production, as well as her vibrant fashion. She often works with recycled materials and co-works with local charity communities in order to support women and attract attention to the homelessness problem in the United Kingdom.
However, the rest of the finalists also deserved awards, the jury was especially touched by Bethany’s extraordinary talent. Let’s hope that using recycled and organic materials and working with communities and charities will be more common in the future. Now, we just have to wait for her business to grow even bigger.
