Best Sustainable Tennis Shoe Brands

most popular tennis shoe brands

Have you been searching endlessly for the best tennis shoe brands but haven’t been successful in finding that perfect match? If you answered yes to that question, I know exactly what you’re going through. Finding tennis shoe brands that meet all of your needs and requirements can be one of the most difficult things to do. Whether you’re looking into the most popular tennis shoe brands or something a little less mainstream, this journey to finding the best tennis sneaker may at times feel impossible. This is why I have composed a list of my top five companies that have created some of the most popular tennis shoes on the market. Not only these shoes I am going to be introducing to you on my tennis shoe brand list stylish, but they’re sustainable and ethical as well. It’s always nice to get the best of both worlds when shopping for anything, so I am going to teach you how.

The first company on my list of sustainable brands of tennis shoes is Vessi. Vessi is a company based in Vancouver, Canada. Three locals from Vancouver got together and created a line of vegan and cruelty-free tennis shoes that are waterproof therefore suitable for all conditions. If you’re someone like me and can’t seem to avoid the puddles on a rainy day, then Vessi is the company for you. They have created four main categories within the shoes they sell: Weekend Sneakers, Cityscape Sneakers, Everyday Sneakers, and Everyday Slip-On. With such a large variety to choose from it’s hard to not consider Vessi to have created some of the top brand tennis shoes. Their Everyday Sneaker is my personal favorite as I feel it provides that sleek look everyone is going for whilst still keeping comfort in mind. There’s nothing better than knowing the shoes on your feet are stylish, sustainable, vegan, and cruelty-free. Shout out to Vessi for being the best brand of tennis shoes!

Thousand Fell

Next up on my list is a company named Thousand Fell. Thousand Fell is a company based in Brazil who has designed an amazing line of shoes that are totally recyclable. So many shoes end up in the landfill annually, so Thousand Fell thought they should create a shoe that could go back into the Earth. The beautiful thing about these tennis shoes is that they are also completely made up of ingredients from the Earth. Basically, when you’re ready to say goodbye to your Thousand Fell sneakers you can send them right back where they came from. It is really inspiring when popular tennis shoe brands care about the environment as we are living in a time where this mindset is essential.

If you are more into a statement tennis shoe, Ecoalf should be at the top of your tennis shoe brands list. Ecoalf is a company that stands by the saying, “There is no Planet B”. This company truly cares about the environment and the impact their production line has on it. Because of this, Ecoalf uses an abundance of natural and recycled materials in the creation of their shoes. For example, instead of sourcing their wool directly from the animals, they know it is much more sustainable to use recycled wool, so this is what they do. The nice thing about Ecoalf is that they have created some of the most fashionable tennis shoes. They have a myriad of styles to offer which is helpful when you aren’t really sure what you are looking for.

8000 Kicks

8000 Kicks is a company that I am very excited to be sharing with you. 8000 Kicks is another completely vegan and cruelty-free company, using hemp as their main ingredient for their creations. This is definitely one of the top tennis shoe brands on the market. Offering shoes for both men and women, 8000 Kicks does not disappoint when it comes to aesthetics. I fell in love with their shoes the moment I laid eyes on them. Their products are both splash and dustproof which is very important when trying to find the perfect shoe. There is no point in buying a shoe that isn’t going to be able to withstand the inevitable accidents of life. If you purchase a pair of shoes from 8000 Kicks you can say that you supported the company that was the first to create hemp insoles which is pretty awesome.

Matt & Nat

top brand tennis shoes

The last company I want to share with you is Matt & Nat. This is a totally awesome and all-vegan company that is most commonly known for their line of bags. What some people aren’t aware of is that they have a stellar selection of vegan shoes as well. This season their sneakers are looking cuter than ever. If you are looking for a sneaker to turn your casual hangout outfit up a few notches, Matt & Nat definitely has you covered. By shopping with this company, you will be able to get a shoe that looks and feels like leather without any animal cruelty. Why would we ever support leather industries ever again if cruelty-free companies such as Matt & Nat already exist? It beats me. Not only are their shoes extremely fashionable, but they are comfortable as well. I have purchased multiple pairs of shoes from this company and have yet to experience any discomfort whilst wearing them. Comfort is key when it comes to tennis shoes, but I promise you Matt & Nat will have you covered.

So there you have it, five of the most popular tennis shoe brands on the market. I have said it already but I will say it again, fashion is not fashionable if it’s not sustainable. There is nothing cute about a pair of shoes that is eventually going to find itself rotting away in a landfill. The year is 2020 and fashion is all about sustainability. That’s what makes these particular companies so special and unique. So if you ever find yourself asking, “What are the best tennis shoes on the market?”, I hope your answer includes sustainability. I hope after reading this today you have learned a little something about earth-friendly sneakers. I know this may just be another blogger sharing their brands of tennis shoes list in hopes that someone will see and read it, but hey, is it working? Anyway, I wish you the best of luck on your tennis shoe endeavors and hope that I provided you with the slightest bit of inspiration. Happy shopping!
