Balenciaga Unites with Animal Protection Organization and Presents a Joint Line
Recently, Balenciaga decided to cooperate with one of the French ancient animal-safe associations, La Société Protectrice des Animaux, to start a website dedicated to abandoned animals and to present a themed kine called I Love Pets.
The joint line includes a variety of themed T-shirts, hoodies, and bags designed with cats and dogs images that were taken from shelters by the company’s team members. The collection is completed with keychains, necklaces, earrings in the form of bones, and even a clutch that looks like a bag of dog food.
The items are decorated with the headings I Love Cats and I Love Dogs. In addition, the creative director of the brand wrote a hotline number on T-shirts and hoodies, where you can find information about shelters for abandoned animals, as well as a link to the project’s website. By visiting such a site, you can play funny mini-games, and send photos of your pets to the brand.
Balenciaga will donate 10% of the sales of the collection to La Société Protectrice des Animaux. By the way, this is not Balenciaga’s first animal welfare project. In 2019, the brand created a collection dedicated to endangered species.
