Balenciaga Has Presented a New Model of Sunglasses With a Luminous LED Logo

And the French brand decided not to stop there. In order to remain interesting to a young audience, the fashion house is inspired by innovative shapes and modern technologies. Balenciaga introduced a new sunglasses model based on LED technology.
The Balenciaga Eyewear collection, presented on the presentation of the spring-summer 2020 line, has been updated with new sunglasses with an LED-lit logo. The frame combined a simple new style with the fashion house’s commitment to embracing technological innovation in its shapes and silhouettes.
The lenses of the massive glasses are completely black with a rough shape. The bold rectangular frame has an embedded LED system that illuminates the brand’s logo. The brand name sparkles with a combination of several shades, prints, and patterns that can be controlled using a touch sensor.
The logo lights up when the temples of the sunglasses are fully extended, or if you tap them three times. The animation dies out when you close the glasses, place them upside down on the surface for more than five seconds, or if you touch them three times again.
In addition, the light can flicker, remain static or smoothly transition from one color to another, shimmering from blue, red, green, purple, yellow, and white- depending on the wishes of the owner of the novelty.
