AVAVAV Brand Created Monster Boots From the Waste of Other Fashion Houses
At the beginning of 2021, a new sustainable AVAVAV brand appeared on the fashion horizon. The co-founder is a New York-based designer from Sweden, Beate Karlsson. The boots with huge paws-feet immediately attracted the attention of fashionistas from all over the world.
And recently, the brand from Florence has presented a new collection that reflects the madness of the present time. The author of the idea decided to go beyond the known forms and solutions creating a surrealistic form of shoes. The collection is sold in limited quantities online, comes in recycled packaging, and is transported by electric vehicles.
Outstretched toe shoes in dark red, bloody, bright green, and purple colors stood out from the entire collection. It is worth noting that despite such an unusual shoe, items from the capsule were sold out a few days after its release.
The hit turned out to be dark red boots, nicknamed bloody feet. These are anatomically irregular, surreal-looking legs of the monster with ragged top edges. The collection also includes T-shirts, hoodies, and shirts.
However, the shoes are not the main highlight of the brand. Beate focuses on sustainable fashion and creates garments from leftover fabrics and other materials from major manufacturers such as Fendi, Burberry, and Jacquemus.
