44 Designers Will Create Tribute Looks

44 designers will gather together to take part in the show dedicated to Albert Elbaz. The recently passed away designer will be remembered during Paris Fashion Week. The Love Brings Love show is scheduled for October 5.

Not only the event was organized to honor the memory of the great couturier, but also to remind the world what the fashion industry is and how much we need beauty and creativity.

Special for this occasion, Ralph Lauren worked on a design of a bear sweater that resembles Elbaz’s signature look. The version of his iconic bear sweater, created by the American designer, reflects Elbaz’s personal style, craftsmanship, and sense of humor.

Among other fashion houses and talented designers who participate in the tribute show are Chanel, Alexander McQueen, Balenciaga, Balmain, Bottega Veneta, Burberry, Chloé, Dior, Comme des Garçons, Fendi, Prada, and Giorgio Armani. Other famous names include Givenchy, Gucci, Hermès, Iris Van Herpen, Jean Paul Gaultier, Lanvin, Louis Vuitton, Off-White, Raf Simons, Saint Laurent, Stella McCartney, Valentino, Versace, Vetements, Vivienne Westwood, Marc Jacobs, and more.

All of them were given a chance to create unique looks inspired by Elbaz’s legacy or his iconic silhouette. The event taking place in Paris will be translated on the AZ Factory website, as well as on YouTube and Instagram. The studio and atelier will also prepare various looks for the display.

Alber Elbaz passed away on April 25, 2021. The cause of death of the designer was complications after the coronavirus. During his career, he worked as creative director of Lanvin and Yves Saint Laurent and also founded the AZ Factory brand.
