Tom Ford is preparing to release a new book, which is already the second in a row. The first, titled Tom Ford, was released back in 2004 and was dedicated to his work as the creative director of Gucci. The new part will be titled Tom Ford 002 and will tell the story of the designer’s career after leaving the Italian House when he founded his own brand in 2005.
The book will have 444 pages and a hardcover. In the book, you can find unique illustrations of celebrities with whom Tom Ford worked. Among them are the photos of Julianne Moore, Beyoncé, Jennifer Lopez, Timothy Chalamet, Rihanna, Drake, Zendaya, Gigi Hadid, and other celebrities. They all will be dressed in designer clothes. The book also features a complete catalog of Tom Ford’s creations for Gucci and Yves Saint Laurent since 1994. Some of the photographs in the book have been published for the first time, for example, advertising campaigns by photographer Steven Klein.
In addition to working on the Tom Ford brand, it will also chronicle Ford’s experience as a director. The 59-year-old designer has directed the films A Single Man and Nocturnal Animals, which were nominated for an Oscar.
Tom Ford 002 is now available for pre-order. The publication will cost about 135 dollars and will arrive in November 2021 available at the brand’s website as well as international bookstores.
